Construction update: January 7, 2019

Site preparation

• Currently the site has all of its foundations in and all the underground plumbing, electrical, and mechanical.
• Alpena Power Company has set the base for the transformer and all of its conduit.
• 28,000 square feet of concert floors have been placed, leaving just over 13,000 to be placed in the near future. Once all the floors are complete walls will be going up.
• The wall sections are being panelized off-site and will be going into production shortly. Walls could start standing at the site as early as February 4th. This is when the building will begin to take shape!
• The truss manufacture has submitted his design for approval so they can begin production of them.
• The new 48″ storm water pipe is fully functional.
• All the interior and exterior samples are in for review and or approval.
• The kitchen equipment procurement and design is ongoing.
